Foothill's culinary program spends over $150 per week on food and supplies so students can prepare and taste a variety of foods and flavors. Because this is an elective class, the school district provides a relatively small amount for ingredients. We are suggesting a donation of $75 per semester to help pay for necessary supplies. If you are not in a position to provide money, we ask you to consider other ways of donating. Gift cards to Safeway or Smart & Final always help. We will also accept items such as dish soap, laundry detergent, paper products or ingredients you may have available in your pantry, or paper plates and plastic ware from a party. Any way you can help offset costs would be helpful.
