The LEAP Program aims to help students achieve and prepare for high school and beyond. We help bridge potential and academic success with a focus on executive functioning skills and navigating the four years of high school.

What LEAP is:

  • LEAP is an acronym that stands for Learn, Achieve, Explore, and Prepare
  • LEAP is an in-school academic support class for grades 9-12 that prepares students for college eligibility and success
  • LEAP 1 prepares freshmen and sophomores to succeed in their courses and build solid habits in preparation for more challenging courses
    • LEAP is for all students, but it targets those in the academic middle, supporting their success in advanced classes
  • LEAP 2 is a college and career readiness class that helps students navigate college applications and determine the next steps after graduation
    • LEAP levels the playing field for minority, rural, low-income, and other students without a college-going tradition in their families
What LEAP isn't:

LEAP isn't a remedial program
LEAP isn’t a magic wand to improve grades
LEAP isn't a free ride
LEAP isn't a college outreach program

Funds will be used to provide field trips to visit colleges and other LEAP related activities
