The Visual Arts Department offers many exciting opportunities for students. It is a way for them to connect with themselves, each other, and the community.
Our Photography teacher would like to continue building the photography studio up by giving the students access to DSLR cameras. This would deepen students' understanding of the art of photography and give students an opportunity to create images at a professional level. These donations would go directly towards Canon Rebel T7 DSLR camera kits. Since the program has grown in numbers, our Photography teacher is looking to expand our students' knowledge of different methods of taking images, including film photography and other experimental processes. Your donation will additionally go towards consumable equipment such as film, developing chemicals and photographic paper for printing.
Our Digital Art teacher is maintaining a 36 Mac desktop computer lab for our digital art students to use for their projects. Upkeep for this lab includes replacing mice and purchasing keyboard covers to keep our student stations santitized. As the program has grown, our teacher is looking to purchase a full 36 count set of drawing tablets in order to give students more control while creating art in our desktop lab. If you so choose, your donation will go towards keyboard covers, mice and drawing tablets for our students to find success in this digital medium.
