The mission of Foothill High School's Wellness Center is to provide support, education, and resources that focus on the well-being of the whole student to help them succeed in school and life! The Wellness Center is a positive space to promote mental health coping strategies. Last year, the Wellness Center was visited over 3,400 times by our students, up from 2,000 visits in the 21/22 school year, which shows our students are benefiting from this welcoming environment. In order to continue promoting self care and wellness for our students, we need your help! Your donations will directly benefit our student body by providing:
- Fidgets such as stress balls and Popits
- Puzzles
- Painting supplies
- Coloring books
- Word puzzles and brain teasers
- Origami
- Bracelet making items
- Tactile tools such as a playdough
- Yoga mats and foam rollers
- Expandable breathing balls
- Hot cocoa and tea
- Calming tablets
- Supplies for Mental Health Awareness Week and Wellness Week event supplies
- Special items for weekly Wellness Access period offerings
The Wellness Center also hosts special presentations from our partners such as the Hume Center, La Familia and Doggy Drop-In with the Valley Humane Society!
