In the past, parents have been very generous about making donations to our PLTW fund. Recent year’s donations have included purchasing equipment, replacing consumables, and increasing the equipment to student ratio so your child spends more time doing things on their own or in smaller groups.

  We are seeking the same help this year, and request  that you consider a voluntary, tax deductible donation of $20 (or any amount you wish) to the fund.  Project Lead The Way provides a comprehensive approach to STEM Education. Through activity-, project-, and problem-based curriculum, PLTW gives students a chance to apply what they know, identify problems, find unique solutions, and lead their own learning.  As a result of engaging in so many hands on activities, there is a high rate of consumption of materials. This is truly a step forward in a student’s learning to solve problems and draw conclusions, but we constantly are needing to replace consumable materials.
